The newest version of Opal for iOS is now live, which is version 4.22.1! To see our new features, please head here: apple
Otherwise, here’s what you can expect:
- Screen Time detail, accessible from the Home tab > “Screen Time”: the app list scrolls again on Day, Week and Month, and the last row clears the tab bar. This screen’s top glow no longer has light rays; Rules and Statistics keep theirs.
- iOS 27.2 only: Home scrolls smoothly again past the hero stats, Top Today and insight cards, and the Apps Usage screen resizes cleanly.
- Rule Difficulty sheet: Waiting Room now shows the number of enabled categories (e.g. “3 selected”, not “8 selected”). For Time Limits and Open Limits, each level explains what it does to resetting the limit, and Hard Mode shows “You can’t reset the limit.”
- Start a Session and/or a Timer in Opal and it now shows on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a live timer until it ends.
As always, let us know what you think!
