Another week, another batch of updates for Opal users on Android! We release every week and in this post, I sumarise last week’s release and the one that is live today – tomorrow.
Coming in v4.14.0 + v4.15.0 (October 15)
- PRO users will see improved accuracy of their Screen Time and Distraction score in the Statistics screen (click on the Opal Score).
- Fixed bugs:
- Blocked websites are now counted in a “Mini player” - the floating pill on Home screen
- ZTE and Nubia phone users are no longer getting a crash
- A paused rule which pause time runs out is no longer shown as “Paused”
- List of Distracting apps shows correctly the time used today
- Simplified Sign-in with Google for new users
- Behind the scenes groundwork for much improved Stats
In next releases:
-
Gemstones (almost there!)
-
We have these known issues that we are working hard to resolve right now:
- Share invite from iPhone wasn’t working properly when opened on Android (coming next release)
- Accessibility permission is getting lost for Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones. We will detect it and add a little guide for users experiencing this issue on how to resolve it. Unfortunatelly, these manufactures operating system are force-stopping our service sometimes.
-
And much more!
Feel free to send me DM if you have any question regarding Opal for Android.
With wish of a lovely autumn
